Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how Vowlynx (operating from Canada) collects, uses, and protects information. It applies to vowlynx.com and the Vowlynx product.

1. What we collect

Vowlynx collects two kinds of information:

  • Owner data: the name, email, phone number, and business details of the restaurant owner using Vowlynx.
  • Customer data: the phone number, SMS content, and order references for customers who interact with a Vowlynx-enabled restaurant.

We do not collect IP addresses, fingerprinting data, or browser user-agent strings without explicit consent.

2. How we use it

We use the information solely to operate the Vowlynx service: deliver SMS messages, track engagement, generate the owner dashboard, and bill the restaurant. We never sell or share customer data with third parties beyond our partner SMS providers, and only in the scope required to deliver messages.

3. SMS consent and opt-out

Vowlynx complies with Canada's Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL) and the US Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA). Customers who reply STOP, UNSUBSCRIBE, or END are immediately opted out at that restaurant and never auto-texted by it again. Each restaurant maintains its own opt-out log, so a customer's opt-out applies to the specific restaurant they sent it to.

4. Data storage and isolation

Vowlynx is multi-tenant with strict per-restaurant data isolation. Each restaurant's customer phone numbers, SMS history, and order data live in a dedicated database. No restaurant can see another's data.

5. Your rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data at any time by emailing support@vowlynx.com. We respond within 30 days.

6. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent change. Material changes will be communicated to active customers via email.
